Acaddamy- “Yeah man, Dom Dolla mix is sick”

Friendless- Dope!!

One little, two little, three little Indians… made house music.

It’s not exactly how the old nursery rhyme went, but then again they weren’t really Indians either, so I don’t think it was based on a true story.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, but in this case it takes a tribe to birth a sound like this. House music collective Navajo start with a real understanding of the music’s origins and evolution, and have paired it with great songwriting and a vision of what might just come next.

With past & current projects that run the gamut from hip-hop to guitar swagger, DJs Mark John, Xavier Millis and Danny D draw on a deluge of experience and innumerable influences to weave their work.
While keeping one foot in Chicago house origins with its percussive elements and pianos, the new single ‘Elemental’ pushes forward with tougher bass and some seriously jackin’ drums. The stunning vocals are courtesy of Kimberly Davis, whose incomparable voice is integral to the current incarnation of CHIC and Nile Rogers’ live show.

The remix package is an all Melbourne affair here with Melbourne club land legend Spacey Space and the on fire Dom Dolla delivering the goods.
